These terms set out the rules for using Padel Connect, including our website, web app, court-side cameras and match analysis (together, the “Services”). Padel Connect is a Sports Vector product, provided by Sports Vector LLC, a company registered in the State of Qatar and based at Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP), Doha, State of Qatar (“we”, “us”).
By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Services.
02Who can use Padel Connect
You must be at least 16 to create an account. If you are 16 or 17, you need permission from a parent or guardian, and they accept these terms on your behalf.
03Your account
Give accurate details when you sign up and keep them up to date.
Keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.
One account per person. Accounts can’t be sold or transferred.
04How the Services work
Partner clubs install Padel Connect cameras on their courts. When a match is recorded, we analyse the footage to produce stats, heatmaps, replays and highlights, which appear in your account once you scan the QR code at the court.
Our analysis is generated automatically by computer vision. It is designed to be accurate, but it can sometimes miss or misread shots, positions or speeds. Treat it as a guide to your game, not an official or certified record.
05Prices and payment
Match reports are paid for one at a time, with no subscription. A report costs $3 if you buy it before your match, or $4 if you buy it after the game. All prices are in US dollars (USD) and include tax, and the price you pay is shown before you confirm. Payments are made through Apple Pay.
Because each report is digital content produced for your specific match, you can’t cancel it once we start producing it. If a recording fails and we can’t produce your report, we’ll give you a full refund. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under Qatar’s Consumer Protection Law (Law No. 8 of 2008).
06Your footage and data
You keep any rights you have in footage of your matches and content you add. To run the Services, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, analyse and display that content for you and for other people you choose to share it with.
We may also use match footage and data to improve our models and develop new features, as explained in our Privacy Policy. A match is only analysed and used in this way if you scan the court’s QR code, so if you’d rather opt out, simply don’t scan it.
You can download or delete your content at any time.
07Other people in your footage
Match recordings usually include your opponents and partner, and sometimes people around the court. When you share or download clips:
respect other players’ privacy and only share footage in ways they would reasonably expect
don’t use footage to mock, harass or embarrass anyone
remove or stop sharing a clip if someone in it asks you to
08Acceptable use
When using the Services, you must not:
break the law or anyone else’s rights
tamper with, move, cover or damage court cameras or screens
record or upload footage of people without a lawful reason
try to access other accounts, our systems or data you aren’t entitled to
copy, reverse engineer or scrape the Services, or use them to build a competing product
upload anything harmful, such as malware
falsify stats or ratings, or game leaderboards
09Our intellectual property
The Services, including our software, models, designs, branding and the Padel Connect name and logo, belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Services for your own, non-commercial padel. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.
10Clubs and other services
Courts, bookings and facilities are provided by the clubs themselves, not by Padel Connect. Your use of a club is covered by that club’s own rules and terms. The Services may link to other websites or services we don’t control, and we aren’t responsible for them.
11Availability and changes
We work to keep the Services running smoothly, but we can’t promise they will always be available or error-free. Recordings may occasionally fail, for example because of a camera fault, connection problem or poor lighting. We may change, add or remove features as the product develops, and will give reasonable notice of significant changes where we can.
12Health and safety
Padel is a physical sport. Stats, ratings and any tips in the Services are general information, not medical, fitness or professional coaching advice. Play within your limits and get proper advice if you have any health concerns.
13Our liability to you
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t be limited by law. If you are a consumer, you also have legal rights that these terms don’t affect.
Otherwise, we are not responsible for losses that weren’t reasonably foreseeable, for business losses, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
14Suspending or closing an account
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account if it breaks these terms, puts other people or the Services at risk, or if we have to by law. Where reasonable, we’ll tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem first.
15Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you in advance, for example by email or in the app. If you don’t agree with the new terms, you can stop using the Services and close your account.
16Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Any dispute about them will be handled by the competent courts of Qatar. If something goes wrong, please contact us first so we can try to sort it out.
